Noviodunum II
A Roman quarter in Nyon: From Augustan times to the 3rd century
This book is the fruit of a close and indispensable collaboration between the field archaeologist, responsible for analyzing and interpreting structures, and the ceramologist, in charge of extracting the tens of thousands of pottery fragments unearthed. The study of ceramics provides information of a chronological, economic, technological or historical nature, shedding light on the lives of people in days gone by. This monograph presents in detail the results of the 1978-1982 archaeological investigations at Place Bel Air and Rue de la Gare 9.
